Bo - O - Rama, The Theatrical Productions of Robert Bruce Anderson

Robert Bruce Anderson, or Bo as he is better known, was born in 1981 and has loved the theatre for as long as he can remember. After graduating from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2004 with a BA in Theatre Performance and a minor in Art he began his career as a playwright an actor and a theatrical carpenter.

Playwright of Avant-Garde Persuasion

Thus far as a playwright three of his one act plays Happiness Hunting (2007), Something New (2006), and Pre-Post-Eros (2004), have all been selected for staged readings at the Last Frontier Theatre Conference. In 2007 Happiness Hunting had its Alaskan Premiere in Valdez, directed by Dawson Moore. In 2006 his one page play Ferry Terminal had its World Premiere in Bern Switzerland, directed by Anna Jakob. While in Anchorage, Alaska his one page play Los Variables was selected twice for performance at the 2005 Don't Blink One Page Play Festival. Read Plays

As an actor he most recently appeared as Lorenzo in Sarah Ruhl's Melancholy Play (2008), Martin in Fool For Love (2006), 2nd Soldier in 12th Night (2005), Peter in Anatoly Antohin's stage adaptation of Dostoevsky's The Possessed (2003), and Peter in Moliere's Don Juan (2003) Contact Me

A Personal Journey

Living in the temperate rain forest that is Juneau Alaska, Bo works as the Master Carpenter of Perseverance Theatre constructing six (6) mainstage shows per season.
